Ordering via the Web Site:

When you click on the “Buy Now” button, you will be re-directed to the PayPal site and all details other than quantity will be ‘pre-filled’. Please adjust the quantity as required and click ‘Update Totals’.

If you have a PayPal account, you can enter your login details at this point and choose for the payment to be taken from your balance. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can select that option and then make a 1-off payment using a credit or debit card.

Please see PayPal’s Security and Privacy Policies for details about how they use and store the information you provide in connection with your purchase. PayPal do not supply your credit card details to Englishtype Ltd. We will be sent confirmation of the payment (including the amount) together with your personal details required to allow us to process your order – including name, customer address, delivery address, telephone number and email address. We will also be supplied with the details of your purchase, the total amount paid and a transaction number – for tracking purposes. This information is sent to us by email.

After submitting an order, PayPal will send you an order acknowledgement email with your transaction number and details of the goods that you have ordered and total amount debited from your card. Please note this email is only an acknowledgement and is not an acceptance of your order. All orders made by you through the Website are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.

Ordering by Telephone/Post:

If you wish to purchase your software by Cheque please call us to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, you can write to us enclosing details of your order plus a cheque (payable to Englishtype Ltd) for the correct amount. If you wish to order by phone, please call us during office hours. If you wish to pay by credit/debit card, we can take your details over the phone.


The standard Englishtype software licence agreement does not permit ‘commercial use’. Running courses for commercial gain (where pupils/course participants are charged a fee to attend) requires a separate licensing arrangement. Please contact Englishtype for details of our commercial terms & conditions.

The Englishtype network/site licence agreement restricts use of the software to a single venue/location (typically a school, college or university) – as stated on the Purchase Order. The network/site licence does not allow:

  • Use of the software at multiple sites;

  • Home use of the software by pupils attending the school or college;

Please contact Englishtype if multiple site coverage or Home usage of Educational programs is required.


Any personal details we hold about you, in connection with your dealings with Englishtype Ltd., will be used only by us and will not be passed on, or sold to anyone else. We may use the information you give us to contact you about Englishtype products and upgrades from time to time.

Englishtype Ltd. does NOT store/save customer details on our web server. All information entered via our website in connection with product enquiries and/or registration is emailed to the relevant member of staff/department for filing.

All customer details are stored (both electronically and physically) at our primary business premises. If you do not wish to be contacted OR you would like to see the information we hold about you, please write to us.

We do not store customer credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.


All prices are quoted in pounds sterling.

We will not accept any liability for any charges levied by your bank/card issuer whatsoever irrespective of your chosen payment method.

Delivery: Physical Product

We aim to ship all orders within 3 working days of receiving your payment (cleared funds). If we cannot, we will attempt to contact you and give you the option to cancel your order.

The postage/delivery due will be automatically added to your order when you proceed to the secure checkout – if applicable.

All overseas customers are responsible for any taxes, duties or other charges which are levied by customs authorities.


Returns & Complaints

We hope that you will be happy with your purchases however, you may request a refund or exchange subject to the following conditions.

Physical Product

If an item is faulty, please return it in its original packaging and we will exchange it.

If you change your mind about your order, the items must be returned in their original condition and packaging with all security seals intact within 7 days of delivery and we will either exchange them or refund you.

Please note that we are unable to refund postage costs unless the items are faulty.

PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with the merchant. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for this transaction.
