Englishtype is committed to maintaining a high level of online privacy for all our website users. Any information provided to us is used solely by us to provide our products to you if you make a purchase and any customer/technical support required if you contact us.

We do not store credit card details nor do we share with, or disclose to, any information with 3rd parties and will not contact you about future sales or products.

How is personal information collected?

If you use our demo download, there is a form to collect contact details; please note, this is voluntary and does not have to be filled in, you can leave it blank and simply click “proceed to download”. This information is not stored, we may contact institutions to confirm if the download was successful, we will not contact individuals. None of this information is stored, it is all deleted.

If you decide to make a purchase, your name, address and email address and payment information will be taken, this is passed to Paypal who process all transactions for Englishtype. This information is safeguarded by Paypal and is not retained upon purchase completion. A Paypal account is not necessary to make a purchase (but can be used if you have an existing account if you wish).

If you use the “contact us” page, you are required to supply an email address or phone number for us to respond to your query. Once we have replied, your details are deleted immediately.

Unless required by law, we will not otherwise share, sell or distribute any of the information that you provide to us.

Where your data is stored

We are committed to ensuring your information is secure. Customer details are held solely on UK computers owned by Englishtype Ltd and is not accessible online or “from the cloud”. We protect information from unlawful access, processing or accidental loss.

How we use cookies
